The Location
The 3 centres are located in the Illawarra region of NSW just south of Sydney. The practices are 45 minutes – 1 hour from Sydney and close to the international airport.
You can live along the beautiful coastal towns with lovely town centres, plenty of shopping and great schools and houses with sea views! If you want to live closer to Sydney then the southern suburbs are a good option with a 45 minute commute to work.
Wollongong is the main city in the area and has a great city beach with cafes and walking / running path with areas to BBQ with your family. There are lots of cafés, restaurants and shopping centres. Wollongong has a number of excellent schools and a University.

They have a large patient base across the practices and manage family care, acute, routine and proactive care. The practice is looking for an all round good GP, no specific experience required however any special interests can be accommodated.
Sessions would be during the week leaving your weekends free. The practice is part of the local after hours coverage however sessions are not onerous and can easily be given away if not desired.

GP Job Wellington- Northern Suburbs – The Practice

This Medical Practice is run by a GP and Pharmacy team based in an outer suburb of Wellington. The train station is 5 minutes walk with a line going to central Wellington in 30 minutes.
This is a fun and relaxed place to work with a team who have an emphasis on great patient care and enjoying a wonderful team environment. We have placed a GP into the practice who has been happily working during her contract.
There are 5 GPs alongside a strong team of nursing staff, health improvement practitioner, Health coach, community worker and Pharmacist.
Having an attached pharmacy, gym, physio, podiatrist, hand therapist, and wellbeing service all under one roof in a modern purpose built medical centre means they can offer patients the best integrated services available.
You will see 11 – 12 patients per session. There is an after-hours required but this is only around 5-6 shifts every 3 months. They offer phone and video consults alongside face to face appointments. There is an opportunity to buy into Partnership for the right person.

This a large practice based in the outer suburb of Wellington on the north island of New Zealand. The practice is a busy practice with 12 GPs with a friendly and caring culture and a patient base of 17000.
This is a teaching practice where you will be supported by a large team of nursing and administration staff. The team have an urgent care centre and have Health Coach, Health Improvement Practitioner and Clinical Assistants. The practice is extremely well equipped with a range of specialist services such as skin clinic, x-ray, chronic care clinic and pharmacy on site.
The doctors have a range of specialties such as urgent care, prison medicine and women’s health. All specialties are welcomed and supported but not necessary.
You will see 12 patients per session working two sessions per day with an allocated 1 hour per session for paperwork. The practice team are flexible on how you wish to manage your working day. There is an after-hours service at the weekend which all doctors take a share of however this equates to only 1 session (am or pm) per month.

The practice is based in a lovely area, approximately 25 minutes drive from Wellington against the traffic. The area is great for being outdoors, with plenty of open space and good schools.

It is well established with a steady patient base with patients coming from the local and surrounding area. This is a 2 GP practice group owned by 4 GP Partners in the western suburbs of Brisbane. The practice is an easy drive, only 40 minutes against the traffic from Brisbane city centre. The practice is mixed billing with many patients privately billed.
The two practices are based only 10 minutes from one another, doctors tend to work in one practice however there is scope to work across both if you wish. The team need an additional 2 GPs to replace retiring GPs. There is an excellent happy team at the practices with many sporting and social gatherings. There is a strong focus on colleagiate support.
The practice team look after a broad range of patients with around 65% of the patients being privately billed. There is full time nursing support and Practice management and the practice offer skin cancer assessments, iron infusions and cosmetic work.
The practice is looking for a UK trained GP with MRCGP. No additional skills are necessary but are supported if desired The team are looking for a friendly GP who will fit into the current environment. Start date is flexible and sponsorship is provided.
