GP Job Illawarra Region – The Practice

This is a UK GP managed group with a strong ethos on finding the right doctors for the practice. They are a sociable and friendly team who work well together.

The practices are well run and you will work alongside many other UK trained GPs. Many of the doctors have their own special interests and you will be supported in managing this if desired or training given if you wish to upskill in minor surgery for example. 

The Location

The 3 centres are located in the Illawarra region of NSW just south of Sydney. The practices are 45 minutes – 1 hour from Sydney and close to the international airport. 

You can live along the beautiful coastal towns with lovely town centres, plenty of shopping and great schools and houses with sea views! If you want to live closer to Sydney then the southern suburbs are a good option with a 45 minute commute to work. 

Wollongong is the main city in the area and has a great city beach with cafes and walking / running path with areas to BBQ with your family. There are lots of cafés, restaurants and shopping centres. Wollongong has a number of excellent schools and a University.
