Emma Cook leads the team at Transition Medical

Educated in Scotland with a degree from an Edinburgh University, Emma has had a number of senior recruitment roles before setting up the company.

‘I set up Transition Medical as I passionately believe in providing a professional and friendly service to help GPs move to Australia and New Zealand. Having a family of my own and having lived overseas previously, I can understand many of the concerns which GPs express when confronted by the scale of the move. I don’t believe this is a 9-5 job so therefore I want our company to be available when you are.

I’ve been helping GPs find fantastic jobs in Australia and New Zealand for 12 years. It’s very important for me to provide a professional, friendly and personalised service.

When not at work, I spend my time running or doing weights classes at the gym and spending time walking or eating in restaurants with friends. I love to travel and try to spend many school holidays exploring the world with our kids’

Kirsty Comley – Registration Consultant

Kirsty is our Registration Consultant and expertly manages the complex Medical Registration paperwork for our GPs.

Kirsty was educated in Scotland with a degree in Management from Heriot-Watt University.  With over 10 years experience in management within the retail industry, she has developed excellent interpersonal and communication skills and confidence in working with documents requiring attention to detail.

With 2 young kids and a puppy most of my spare time is spent with the family, but I also enjoy socialising with friends, eating out and have a keen interest in fashion and interior design.

Nicola Crome – Immigration Advisor

After graduating from Leeds University, Nicola spent a year travelling around the world. This inspired her love of travel, and of New Zealand in particular.

Her passion for travel led to a successful career in the travel industry, where Nicola led numerous customer-centric marketing campaigns.

Nicola set up Relocate Down Under to be able to provide a personalised service for clients who wish to relocate to New Zealand. The business combines her immigration experience, business skills, customer focus and love of New Zealand.

Nicola holds a Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice and gained her full licence as a Licensed Immigration Adviser in January 2021. She won the Immigration Award for Professional Practice and the Top Overall Student Award for the Graduate Diploma, which is awarded to the student scoring the highest total marks across all courses.

She is a permanent resident of New Zealand and travels back as often as possible. Her favourite place is at the beach in Mount Maunganui.
