The practice is based in the suburbs,  just an hour drive from Sydney city centre. You could easily live in the western suburbs of Sydney and have a shorter commute. Many of the doctors live in nearby suburbs where there are excellent schools and a great choice of beautiful homes with pools.

The practice has nursing and allied health staff run by an experienced Practice Manager. There is a shortage of GPs in the area so you can expect to be busy quickly and earn an excellent income.

The practices also offer the convenience of onsite allied health services, including dietetics, physiotherapy, podiatry, exercise physiology, psychology, sleep studies, nursing, and pathology collection. Additional services are also available nearby, such as pharmacy, dental, and radiology services.

These are mixed billing clinics open 7 days per week.

The Location

Sydney, with a population of just under 5 million is known as the harbour city is one of the most iconic cities in the world with a lively and vibrant buss. It is the largest, oldest and most cosmopolitan city in Australia with history, fashion, art, culture and design.

The practice is based in a DPA area just 45 minutes – 1hour from the city, the area is a growing suburb with lots of new developments. GPs in the practice live half way between Sydney CBD and the practice so an easy commute from both.

Wonderful GP owned practice with two medical centres. One location has recently become DPA and they are looking to find additional GPs for their thriving practice. Located in a southern suburb, only 20 minutes from the city centre of Perth, this is a well run and friendly GP owned practice.

The Position

The practice is open between 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday with flexible hours for the incoming GP. The practice will be open on a Saturday am only which would be worked 1:4 in rotation.

The practice is an area of shortage of doctors so it is expected that you will become busy quickly. There is a waiting list of doctors at the existing practice which would be transferred. The current GP owner earns over $400k per year.

We’re looking for a friendly GP who is eager to learn in the new environment and work in a cohesive team. There will be plenty of support from doctors, nurses and the admin team where there are regular team meetings. The current practice is a teaching practice providing teaching for 2 Registrars.

This is a modern, purpose built practice which opened in 2022. The practices are very highly regarded in the local area with a waiting list of patients every day which they will transfer to the new practice. There is a great team environment where everyone helps one another to do give the best patient care and enjoy their day.

 

The practice is purpose built and has 8 consulting rooms with a 3 bed treatment room with nurses station. There is dedicated admin and nursing support with excellent patient software to allow you tomanage your day. There will be a staff room with shower and lockers with space for the team to meet for lunch and catch up on patient cases.

The Location

The practice is in a pocket of DPA which allows overseas trained GPs to work close to Perth city. This is a very rare job coming up so close to the city. It is approximately 20 minutes drive to central Perth in an area with large residential growth. Situated in a commuter belt, it’s easy to get into the city from the freeway.

The Medical Centre is a modern centre based in the suburbs of Brisbane, to the west of the city centre. This is a very high spec, modern purpose built practice in part of a larger allied health hub.

Fairly newly established, the practice currently has 2 GPs. Due to patient demand, the group are planning to slowly build on the number of GPs with the potential to grow to an 8 GP practice.

The patient base is primarily families. They see lots of paediatrics, women’s health and chronic disease. There is management of disabilities and associated allied health services. The practice is equipped with a treatment room with scope to practise minor surgery and skin procedures. The team pride themselves on providing holistic healthcare and caring for their patients.

The GP Job

We’re looking for a doctor with MRCGP / MICGP with a start date as soon as paperwork completed. You need to be  a good team player and would like to make a longer term commitment to the practice. As it’s fairly newly established, there is the opportunity to be involved in the growth of the practice.

You will be offered 65 – 70% of billings with the potential to bill $2500 per day depending on how you work.

Working hours are Monday to Friday only with flexibility over start and finish times. The practice will open at the weekend, if you wish to do additional hours.

The Location

The Medical Centre is a 30 minute drive from the city centre, one of the closest suburbs to Brisbane city you can work in. It is a green suburb close to parks and wildlife with plenty of space. There is shopping facilities and schools nearby plus a short drive to the city of Brisbane.

This is a 6 doctor practice across 3 locations all close to each other in Hamilton. The team is looking for a long-term – permanent GP to join the existing team.

They are a happy, cohesive team of doctors where there is a focus on ensuring the working environment is well-run and supportive. There is a strong team of nurse prescribers, nurses, and administration staff supporting the doctors.

The practice is open Monday to Saturday looking after a multicultural mix of patients from young families to the elderly. It is a teaching practice with links to Auckland University. The Director of the practice teaches medical students, GP registrars, and nursing students.

The GP Job The position has a flexible start date where you can choose your working hours between 32 – 40 per week.

All GPs take a share in the Saturday roster which works out as 1:5 weekends. You will be based in one clinic in the group with support from the doctors across the group. You will see approx. 26 patients per day with 1 hour of paid paperwork time. You will have the facility to practice your areas of clinical interest if you wish. Any interests in minor surgery, aesthetics, and training are encouraged.

The Location

The city of Hamilton is located on the banks of the Waikato River, with many scenic riverside walks and cycleways. Hamilton is a city of almost 600,000 people with half of this population under the age of 30. It is also a very culturally diverse city, home to more than 80 ethnic groups.

Hamilton’s central precinct is easy and has many cafes, restaurants, a casino, and bars where you can wine, dine and dance the night away. The city is also well known as a destination for national and international events from sporting matches such as rugby, cricket, netball, rowing, and boxing to concerts and festivals.

Auckland is a 1.5-hour drive where there is an international airport with links within NZ and overseas.

The practice is a busy 3 GP mixed billing medical centre based in the western suburbs of the city only 35 minutes from the city centre. Located in a growth area, the practice is busy and you will have no shortage of patients.

The practice has 5 consult rooms with 3 doctors including a UK trained GP. There is a well equipped procedure and treatment room and any areas of special interest will be supported.

The patient base is middle to working class and you will see a broad range of patients. The practice is open Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm with a Saturday morning until 1pm.

The GP Job

Your working hours are flexible and you can choose to work full or part time. The practice is open standard practice opening times and a Saturday morning which is optional. There is nursing and administration support and plenty of support to help you get settled in and build your patient base.

You will be offered 70% of billings and the opportunity to make an excellent income. A good busy GP can take home between $8 – $10K per week. It is a close knit family clinic with a collegiate environment. There is the opportunity to make additional income serving the local aged care centres.
