Wonderful GP owned practice with two medical centres in the southern suburbs of Perth.

The Position

The practice is open between 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday with flexible hours for the incoming GP. The practice will be open on a Saturday am only which would be worked in rotation with other doctors in the practice. This is done fairly and not onerous.

The practice is an area of shortage of doctors so it is expected that you will become busy quickly. There is a waiting list of doctors at the existing practice which would be transferred. The current GP owner earns over $400k per year.

We’re looking for a friendly GP who is eager to learn in the new environment and work in a cohesive team. There will be plenty of support from doctors, nurses and the admin team where there are regular team meetings. The current practice is a teaching practice where you will have lots of support from not only your supervisor but also from the rest of the mixed team of Australian and overseas trained GPs.

The practices are very highly regarded in the local area. There is a great team environment where everyone helps one another to do give the best patient care and enjoy their day.

The practice is purpose built and has 8 consulting rooms with a 3 bed treatment room with nurses station. There is dedicated admin and nursing support with excellent patient software to allow you to manage your day. There are great facilities, including staff room with shower and lockers with space for the team to meet for lunch and catch up on patient cases.

The practices are both in the southern suburbs of Perth and easily accessible from the coastal suburbs and the city centre.
