GP Job  – The Practice

This is a beautiful practice situated on the Central coast region, half way between Sydney and Newcastle. The practice is well established and has 6 long standing GPs. The practice is just over an hour’s drive to Sydney.

It is a friendly and welcoming family practice where you will be fully booked within 3 months. Most GPs see around 20 – 25 patients per day however the number you see is up to you.

The practice team care for the growing needs of the community. They are a patient driven centre and although income is good, it is not the main driver for the doctors. They operate a wonderful team environment and provide a range of GP services to their patient base.

You will be fully supported by a team of nurses on every day apart from Saturdays. The nurses are pro-active with care plans and health assessments to allow you to provide great patient care whilst maximising your billings.

The practice has 8 consulting rooms and a 2-bed procedure room. It is a teaching practice with a commitment to students and Registrars. They operate an appointment-based system with walks ins triaged. The opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm and Sat am 9-1pm.

GP Job – The Practice

The Practice was established over 45 years ago and has been serving the community since. In 2017 the practice underwent a complete rebuild and the facilities are now first class. There are a large number of families where multiple generations have been coming to the practice.

The practice is privately owned by four health professionals who have had a long involvement with medical centre ownership. The current owners purchased the practice from the three doctor partners to facilitate the partners desire to reduce their workload and move into retirement. The three former owners continue to work in the practice.

It has ten consulting rooms, a two bed treatment room, pathology collection room, nurses room, administration office and large tea room. The practice is fully air conditioned and as the practice was recently rebuilt all the facilities are modern and at a very high standard. The opening hours are 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 12 noon on Saturday. Most days there are 2 to 3 practitioners on and standard appointments are 15 minutes although doctors can arrange their appointments how they prefer. It has a 2 bed treatment room, immunisation fridge, oxygen, CPR, wound dressing trolley and equipment, ear syringe equipment, ECG, spirometry, iron infusion equipment, doppler and other standard equipment you would find in a well-appointed treatment room. There is a dedicate practice manager and six administration staff. The practice is fully accredited.

In addition, the practice has a podiatrist and social worker. There is a pathology collection service at the practice.

There are a large number of young families as well as elderly patients as there are a number of age facilities in the region. The area has a large amount of chronic disease patients.

This is a bulk billing practice but due to the prevalence of patients with a chronic disease there is a good opportunity to engage in GPMPs etc and the average of billings per patient at the practice is over $60 per patient.

With doctors retiring there is a large patient demand and the opportunity to engage in chronic disease management. Our doctors regularly bill over $3,000 per day.

There is a very large patient demand in the area. Due to the aging doctor population and a drop in the number of doctors in the area. The practice averages approximately 5 patients per hour. A new doctor would expect to see this many patient from the day they commence.

The Location

Wollongong and about 1.5 hours South of Sydney. It delivers a mix of metropolitan style, coastal living just over an hour from Sydney city centre. It is the third largest city in New South Wales with easy travel to Sydney.

It is set up a beautiful natural setting, with superb beaches, adventure activities, plenty of sporting activities and paths for walking and cycling. The area is multi-cultural with around 39% born overseas, mainly from the UK and mainland Europe.

GP Job – The Practice

The practice is bulk billing and look after a range of patients. The practice is open Monday to Friday and Saturday from 9am – 4pm. It is a 13 doctor practice with a mix of GPs and visiting Specialists.

The doctors bulk bill all patients. The GPs have a range of specialties such as providing chronic care and GP management plans. There is a well equipped treatment room for minor surgery and dermatology. Some GPs provide minor surgery and specialist dermatology services.

The Location

The practice is based in the centre of Wollongong, which is a coastal city just 1.5 hours from Sydney. The practice is close to some of the best beaches in the world. Wollongong is a multi cultural city with a mix of coastal living and city life

GP Job – based between the rolling Adelaide hills and beaches of the south coast

GP Job Adelaide- The Practice

This is an established GP owned medical centre in a beautiful region of Adelaide. The practice is 40 minutes to the city centre, 10 minutes to the beach and within one of the most prominent wineries in Australia.

The practice has an established team in the local area. We’ve placed a doctor within the practice who is still there and happy many years on. The team provide a full range of GP services as well as sports medicine, minor surgery and dermatology. Special interests are encouraged so you will be able to develop any area you find interesting.

You will be offered 70% of billings with the option to bill how you wish. It’s a mixed billing practice who bill children and elderly however everything else is privately billed.

This is a truly flexible role where you can choose how many hours you work and the times when you wish to start and finish. Income potential is really high with GPs earning between $300 – $500K.

The GP owner has accommodation which can be used for the initial period whilst you get to know the area and find longer term accommodation.

The Location

Between the rolling Adelaide hills and the beaches of the south coast, the practice has over 80 cellar doors and vineyards with amazing restaurants.

Adelaide is South Australia’s capital and known for it’s Mediterranean climate with dry summers and mild winters. GP Job Brisbane- The Practice

This is a 9 GP practice supported by an experienced nursing and admin team. They offer a full range of GP services on 10-15-minute consultations. The practice is mixed billing clinic open 7 days per week. You will be working alongside an experienced team of GPs, dedicated nurses, and will receive excellent operational, clinical management and marketing support. You will also have full control over your day and your patient contact.

This is a wonderful, friendly and supportive team in a private billing practice in the north of Brisbane.

The practice is owned by an experienced Nurse Practitioner who works in the practice. The team consist of 1 GP and 2 Nurse Practitioners. As an experienced team they feel passionate about managing patients as much as possible within the practice without sending to hospital.

The patient base is a lovely mix of babies, young families and a retiree population. Appointments are booked at 20 minute intervals and the focus is quality time with the patient. The practice is purpose built with modern facilities. They do a range of general practice services plus minor surgery, skin and vasectomies.

The Position

This is a private billing practice where you can bulk bill at your discretion. The practice has 1 GP and are recruiting 2 additional doctors. You will be supported by 2 very experienced Nurse Practitioners. You will be offered 70% of billings where you will be busy from day one. It is a busy practice with full time billings around 10-15000 per week of which you would take your percentage.

Start date is flexible once paperwork is complete and the hours are flexible, full or part time.
