Popular medical centre on the New South Wales coast is looking for a GP to join the team of 6 GPs. The practice has an established group of GPs committed to providing high quality patient care for the whole family. 

You will be supported by a team of caring nursing and administrative staff. They provide a range of medical services from childhood to adult and elderly medicine, skin checks and minor procedures and employment medicals.  

The practice is open Monday to Friday with a share in the Saturday morning shift in rotation with the other GPs. 

The Job Location

This is a busy family owned and operated practice offering services Whitsunday  and surrounding regions. All the staff are highly skilled and passionate about providing exceptional medical services. There are 2 registered nurses to assist with procedures, chronic disease management and recalls.

This is a mixed billing surgery with children bulk billed under the age of 15 and pension card-holders and DVA patients. The practice is open Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, closed at weekends.

This is an 7 GP practice owned by a larger group of practices across the South Australia region. The majority of the GPs are highly experienced with various medical interests. The practice offer the usual range of practice services with minor surgery and skin cancer checks and occupational health. There is on-site allied health and nursing support.

It is a mixed billing surgery with children bulk billed under the age of 13 and health card holders. The practice is open Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm with the practice currently closed at the weekend.

You will be offered the ability to manage and maintain flexible working schedules and doctor independence. GP Job Adelaide- The Practice

The practice has a special focus on families, with a wide range of services available for babies, children and the elderly. Services include General Medicine, Care Plans, Minor On-sight Procedures, Baby Clinics, Mental Health and Skin Cancer Checks.  Expected patient numbers and gross billings

$10,000 per week of Gross Billings ($7000 to the doctor) is easily achievable for a full-time GP with a good bedside manner and a good understanding of the Medicare MBS item numbers. We have GPs generating higher billings than this.

Support provided to GPs

· Full induction in Medicare Chronic Disease Management prior to starting

· Onsite support by fellow GP to assist in transition

As a mixed billing clinic, patients are privately billed with concession card holders being bulk billed.

The clinic also provides a professional and caring service for the early detection, diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancers. The Doctors also provide skin cancer awareness and prevention advice. GP Job East Coast NSW – The Practice

This is a well-established practice on the East Coast of Australia looking after a population of 2300. There are 4 other GPs with a patient need for an additional doctor to join the team.

Fully bulk-billing with the exception of employment-related medical exams, the practice aims to provide the highest standard of patient care with a holistic approach to diagnosis and management of illness.

The closest hospital is 30 minutes away and patients call the Ambulance if there is an emergency. The practice does offer an on-call service which is 1 week in 4 shared among all doctors. The number of calls taken are fairly low and can usually be booked in for routine appointments.

The practice is run by a Practice Manager with a team of reception staff and Practice Nurse. They offer minor surgical procedures and do lots of skin cancer excisions.
