Really supportive and friendly practice are seeking a GP to join their existing team of 9 doctors. This is a privately billing practice with all patients billed for their consultations. It is an established practice with 15,000 patients.

It is a busy practice with a collegiate environment and low staff turnover. A very family orientated practice with a good demographic of patients. There are always 2 nurses on at any one time; one in the treatment room and the other assisting with care plans and health assessments. The practice is expanding and need additional GPs to accommodate the space and patient demand.

The working week is flexible and you are free to choose your start and finishing times. You will be busy from day one and plenty of support will be given with your induction and ongoing administration support. The practice manager focuses on achieving a great team culture.

 

The Location

Wollongong and about 1.5 hours South of Sydney. It delivers a mix of metropolitan style, coastal living just over an hour from Sydney city centre. It is the third largest city in New South Wales with easy travel to Sydney.

It is set up a beautiful natural setting, with superb beaches, adventure activities, plenty of sporting activities and paths for walking and cycling. The area is multi-cultural with around 39% born overseas, mainly from the UK and mainland Europe.

This practice has 8 part-time General Practitioners, plus 1 or 2 part-time RACGP GP Registrars. It is a very busy, rural general practice, treating some 30,000 patients per year. It is the only general medical practice in the area, and provides a service to local Hospital.

The team place a very high value on providing a quality service that meets the needs of the local community. They practise a traditional, comprehensive style of family medicine that ranges from antenatal shared care, through the life span to residential aged care and palliative care of their own patients.   They are committed to the provision of quality medical care which is valued highly by the community.

You can live along the beautiful coastal towns with lovely town centres, plenty of shopping and great schools and houses with sea views! If you want to live closer to Sydney then the southern suburbs are a good option with a 1 hour commute to work. 

You can take a more leisurely coastal drive that offers scenic views along the way, heading north towards Sydney along the coastline. This route is perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing, picturesque drive.

The M1 freeway is the faster option, connecting Erina to Sydney’s southern suburbs in about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic. It’s a direct route and well-maintained for a quicker commute.

The practice is open from 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday then Saturday on 9- 12noon. The practice is mixed billing with children under 16 and pensioners bulk billed. The Location

The practice is a 30 minute drive from central Melbourne so you can live close by or in central Melbourne and commute.

This is a GP owned clinic  in the western suburbs of Melbourne. The practice is 25km from the city centre of Melbourne.  

 It is a 2 GP, busy mixed billing clinic offering general practice and skin cancer services. They are fully booked up to 7 days in advance so need another 2 GPs to meet patient demand. 

The GPs are supported by full time practice nurse, allied health including physio exercise physiologist, dietician and podiatrist. They have in house pathology collection. The current GPs do skin cancer checks and there is a fully equipped treatment room available.  

The practice is open Monday to Friday and on Saturday morning only. There is no requirement to work the Saturday unless you wish.  They are offering a comprehensive relocation package with the potential of very good earnings up to $400k per year. 

 

The Location 

The practice is based  a 25 minute drive or 21km from the city centre of Melbourne. The practice is offering initial accommodation either in the city or nearer the clinic, depending on your preference.
