This practice has 8 part-time General Practitioners, plus 1 or 2 part-time RACGP GP Registrars. It is a very busy, rural general practice, treating some 30,000 patients per year. It is the only general medical practice in the area, and provides a service to local Hospital.

The team place a very high value on providing a quality service that meets the needs of the local community. They practise a traditional, comprehensive style of family medicine that ranges from antenatal shared care, through the life span to residential aged care and palliative care of their own patients.   They are committed to the provision of quality medical care which is valued highly by the community.

The surgery enjoys a wonderful, warm cooperative workplace where our GPs work as a team.  They have systems in place to support many of the GPs to practice part-time and value regular clinical education meetings as much as the daily informal catch ups and debriefs with colleagues 

The practice has very strong relationships with our local health service partners, in addition to many local allied health practitioners.

The surgery has a very long and established commitment to education and we proudly boast that almost half the team of GPs are former registrars who decided to stay on or return to work after training!  Five of the current GPs are registrar supervisors and several are either current or former Medical Educators with the regional GP training network.
