This is a GP owned clinic  in the western suburbs of Melbourne. The practice is 25km from the city centre of Melbourne.  

 It is a 2 GP, busy mixed billing clinic offering general practice and skin cancer services. They are fully booked up to 7 days in advance so need another 2 GPs to meet patient demand. 

The GPs are supported by full time practice nurse, allied health including physio exercise physiologist, dietician and podiatrist. They have in house pathology collection. The current GPs do skin cancer checks and there is a fully equipped treatment room available.  

The practice is open Monday to Friday and on Saturday morning only. There is no requirement to work the Saturday unless you wish.  They are offering a comprehensive relocation package with the potential of very good earnings up to $400k per year. 

 

The Location 

The practice is based  a 25 minute drive or 21km from the city centre of Melbourne. The practice is offering initial accommodation either in the city or nearer the clinic, depending on your preference.

This is a lovely small group of GP owned practices in the western suburbs of Brisbane. It is the closest you can get to Brisbane within the DPA boundaries. 

You will be supported by a professional team of nurses, Practice Manager, administration and allied health staff. You will join a multicultural team with an excellent reputation for providing quality patient care. 

Both practices are busy and you will have an available patient base to walk into, and only a 25 minute drive from Brisbane city centre. 

The GP Job

You will be offered 70% of billings working either full or part time. Income potential is very high and there are options to practise your areas of clinical interest. There are treatment rooms and options to practise minor surgery and dermatology if desired. 

Each practice has modern facilities and you will work alongside a highly supportive, flexible and committed team. You will work in one practice; no requirement to move round between practices unless you wish. 

Hours are generally 37.5 per week however there is flexibility. Start and finish times are flexible and you can choose to bulk or private bill and the length of your patient consults. One day per week each doctor works until 8pm so you may wish to start later in the day. There is 1:4 weekend split between all GPs.

The practices are located across the western and southern suburbs of the city. All are a relatively short distance from the city centre with easy commutes.

The practice provides a range of GP services but also has many allied health providers including podiatry, dietician and chiropractor. There is pathology on site and general X-ray services. It is a teaching practice with a focus on education and support. 

Working hours are flexible within the opening hours of the practice. It is up to you how many patients you see. You will be offered 70% of billings with a minimum guarantee of $150 per hour. Your income will be dependent on the number of patients you see and how you work. 

It is a friendly group with other UK doctors working there. You will have plenty of support with initial induction and supervision.

The practice is fully bulk billing and the GP Owner will spend time going through the billing system and ensuring you are able to maximise on your billings. Earning potential is above $350K per year. (£175k)

The GP Job

Due to patient demand, there is scope for up to 3 GPs to join over time. The practice is currently turning away 25 patients per day so there is plenty of scope to build your patient base.

We’re looking for an all-round GP who is able to look after a diverse range of patients. The patient base is primarily younger with young families so female health, mental health and paediatric interests would all be useful.
