GP Job Whitsunday Islands- The Practice
This is a busy family owned and operated practice offering services Whitsunday and surrounding regions. All the staff are highly skilled and passionate about providing exceptional medical services. There are 2 registered nurses to assist with procedures, chronic disease management and recalls.
This is a mixed billing surgery with children bulk billed under the age of 15 and pension card-holders and DVA patients. The practice is open Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm, closed at weekends.
The practice is looking for a gp who is able to adapt quickly into the role, is looking to enjoy an outdoor lifestyle with a fantastic climate and be proud to be part of the Whitsunday community.

Nearby is Airlie Beach, a gateway to the Whitsunday Islands. The area offers a great lifestyle including boating, fishing, restaurants and tropical beachside living. There are a number of great private and public schools and nurseries.
Mackay on Queensland’s east coast is just over 1.5hrs by car, the practice is close to 3 major airports, Proserpine, Mackay and Hamilton Island. Off the coast is a section of the Great Barrier Reef, a spectacular place to visit for snorkelling and diving. Mackay is known for its Harbour Beach, marina and “Bluewater Lagoon” a famous city water park.
