The Practice houses a huge range of medical services such as dental, youth and mental health, radiology, audiology, rehabilitation, pathology, sleep clinic, cosmetic medicine, chiropractic, brain treatment technology, pharmacy, dietetics, occupational therapy, relationship counselling, community support services, and physiotherapy.

The practice also offers urgent care services through its Minor Accident & Illness Centre (MAIC). The MAIC is a fast and affordable alternative to the emergency department for non- life threatening conditions. Urgent care, Independent Medical Practitioners are highly skilled in minor procedures and conduct most procedures in our on-site state of the art treatment rooms.

Currently 30% of the local population are patients at the centre with over 200,000 registered patients and they’re the largest medical centre in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.

The Practice has a range of opportunities for GPs wishing to up skill and further develop their interests and careers. The team work in close partnerships with major universities and education institutes in Queensland and can offer the opportunity to take up senior lectureships and work as principal investigators on new clinical trials (which can be both financially lucrative and intellectually rewarding).

You will have the option to bill how you wish, private or bulk billing and you will be given full support with training to effectively bill through Medicare and maximise earning potential. Most GPs choose 10 – 20 minute standard appointment times for their patients and it’s up to you as to how you manage your day.

The area is around a 45-minute drive from Brisbane city centre and 45 minutes from the Sunshine coast. You could easily live in the northern suburbs of Brisbane and have less than 30-minute commute to work.

Nearby Bribie Island is a local hotspot for beaches and 4-wheel driving only a 20minute drive away. If you prefer the quiet life, there are great country locations on the outskirts of the main town such as, Rocksberg and Wamuran.

For families there is a choice of both private and state schools available. There are 4 state schools in the surrounding suburbs including Bribie Island. For those wanting to choose private education for their family there is a choice of Catholic College and Catholic Primary. There is a primary and secondary Lutheran College as well as prep to secondary Christian College.
