GP Job Hamilton – The Practice

We have a GP Job opportunity working in a highly skilled and supportive team in an innovative patient focused practice.  This is a large urban based practice, serving a large patient base, with 16 GPs supported by a sizeable team of nurses, clinical support and administration staff. The practice has additional supporting staff including health coach, health improvement practitioner, pharmacist and phlebotomy. There is a physio in the additional building.  We are seeking a general practitioner, to work a minimum of 24 hours per week.

We’re looking for a GP with an excellent patient focus with an empathy for people of all walks of life. We are also looking for a GP who has the ability to work accurately under pressure and work in a team environment and enjoy working in a large team

The minimum contract is 12 months with no weekend or after hours work. You will see an average of 21 patients per day.

The practice has an amazing supportive culture, with GP huddles and peer group sessions. You will have full supervision and a GP buddy system in place. The nursing team are highly experienced and supportive. The practice utilising practice use AI transcribing
