GP Job Geelong – The Practice
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic General Practitioner to work in a friendly team, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population The new practice will initially feature three consult rooms, with capacity to extend to twelve as the patient base grows.
The model of care is structured around longer appointment times, with first consultations lasting up to an hour, putting emphasis on concentration of carer by allowing time to dive in deeper issues such as gut health, nutrition, lifestyle, and preventative medicine. The approach reflects a belief in high-quality, patient-centred medicine that seeks lasting outcomes. By creating space for personalised plans and ongoing support, the practice offers an alternative to high-volume, time-pressured models of general practice.
The new clinic has been designed as a light, calming, and therapeutic space that complements the philosophy of care. Its expansion potential, from three to twelve consult rooms, reflects the commitment to building a centre that grows with community demand while maintaining its values. For clinicians, this represents the chance to be part of a progressive, GP-led model of practice that prioritises long-term wellbeing and clinical autonomy.
Location
Located in a residential suburb in Geelong, the location offers a balance between suburban calm and proximity to Geelong’s amenities, with shops, schools, transport, and community facilities within easy reach. Because Geelong is itself only about an hour’s drive from Melbourne, the area benefits from both regional and metropolitan connectivity, making it appealing for people who want a quieter lifestyle while still being linked to big-city services.
Victoria is a state in southeast Australia known for its diverse landscapes and cultural vibrancy. It features mountains, national parks, acclaimed wine regions, and popular surfing beaches. Melbourne, the capital, is famous for its 19th-century laneways, buzzing with cafes and street art, and its central arts precinct. The Great Ocean Road traces the coast to Port Campbell National Park, where the Twelve Apostles rise from the sea in dramatic fashion. Inland, historic gold rush towns and scenic alpine areas add depth to the state’s rich cultural and natural appeal.
