We’re looking for a GP with an interest in Functional / Lifestyle Medicine to join a well-established and inclusive private practice set in a tranquil garden environment.

This opportunity would suit either an experienced practitioner or a GP with a genuine interest in transitioning into integrative medicine. The clinic currently experiences patient demand beyond its capacity, with new appointments booking 2–6 months in advance. The role offers the chance to work with patients presenting with chronic and complex health conditions requiring comprehensive and supportive care.

The practice aims to provide an inclusive and innovative General Practice, focused on community engagement and patient-centred care. Patients are assessed and treated holistically, considering nutrition, environment, and lifestyle. The clinic is committed to achieving better health outcomes through a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach to medicine.

Communication between practitioners is valued highly and supports improved results for patients. The team is committed to ongoing education and staying at the forefront of emerging treatments and technologies. Patients are empowered to take control of their health through education and evidence-based recommendations.

Training and mentorship are available through recognised bodies such as the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM), Australian Integrative Medicine Association (AIMA), Bio Balance, and the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine.  

You will be required to work a minimum of two full days per week, Saturdays are shared on a rotating roster, along with some evening duty doctor sessions, to support continuity of care.

The clinic environment is designed to be calm and welcoming, with purpose-built consulting rooms offering garden views and natural light. The practice is fully computerised, well equipped, and supported by a team of experienced GPs, nurses, allied health practitioners, complementary therapists, and administrative staff. Onsite service providers include Clinpath Pathology Collection Centre, Infinity Compounding Pharmacy, Bensons Radiology, and The Specialist Clinics Blackwood.

Situated in a leafy and picturesque suburb located in the foothills of Adelaide, South Australia. Known for its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere, close by this is the  iconic Belair National Park, one of Australia’s oldest national parks, offering walking trails, picnic areas, and abundant native wildlife. The area combines a peaceful, semi-rural lifestyle with convenient access to the city, just a 20-minute drive or short train ride away.
