GP Job Karratha- The Practice

Rural position in northern Western Australia. This forward thinking, growing practice are looking for a GP to join the team.  

The position will be 8 or 9 sessions per week working alongside other GPs and a strong team of allied health professionals. You will be offered an independent contractor role with great income potential due to the available patient base.  

The practice is having a brand new fit out in February 2021 will modern facilities. The practice is mixed billing and offer a range of General practice services with free chronic illness to patients with health concession cards. They offer an itegrated chronic disease care program. The practice has a great allied health team offering podiatry, dietetics, psychology and physiotherapy.  

 

The Location 

The practice is based in Karratha in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.  The practice is in a remote coastal town at the top end of WA. It is one of the largest and fastest growing towns in the area and is an ideal base to explore some of the local natural delights.  

The town has an airport connecting to Perth, a large shopping centre, leisure centre with outdoor pools, plenty of green space and parks. There is the picturesque beach at Hearson’s Cove within a 20 minute drive.  

The local area offers the outstanding Karijini National Park, Dampier Archipelago and a little down the coast is the amazing Ningaloo Reef which offers crystal clear waters with turtles, tropical fish and the elusive whale shark.
