GP Job Armidale NSW – The Practice

This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week. Working hours are Monday – Friday (the practice is open 8.30 am – 5.30 pm) and Saturday morning only. The contract is a minimum of 2 years. You will work within a lovely team of experienced GPs and support team. You will have a comprehensive induction process and support getting settled into the area.

The practice provides comprehensive healthcare for the whole family. The GP team of 6 offers a number of services and there is a treatment room for minor procedures, wound management and vaccinations. The practice also has a dedicated skin cancer clinic. The practice is mixed billing and offers bulk billing to young children and Health cardholders, the majority of patients are privately billed.

The practice is based just west from Coffs Harbour. With a population of almost 30,000, the area has a huge choice of excellent schools and a University. Located halfway between Sydney and Brisbane on the East coast of Australia, there is an airport with daily direct flights to both cities. Life in the city is peaceful, enjoyable and affordable. It is a multicultural town set in the heart of the New England Tableland area of New South Wales with beautiful parks, waterfalls and wildlife. Local schools are outstanding and leisure facilities include museums and galleries, cafes, cinema and sports centre and swimming pool. There are four distinct seasons with warm sunny summers and cooler winters.
