GP Job Auckland- Western Suburbs

This is a training practice in the western suburbs of Auckland looking for a GP to join the great team of 9 GPs

This group practice has been in the community for over 60 years and has recently moved into a purpose built building. This is a low cost practice for the local community. It is a well-equipped practice with treatment rooms and a nurse triage service for accidents or urgent medical problems. There is scope to practise areas of interest such as minor surgery, chronic disease management and women’s health.

The doctors are supported by a team of nursing and allied health staff and health coaches and wellness advisors.

The Location

The practice is based in the western suburbs of Auckland and a 30 minute commute from the city centre.

Auckland is rated as the third most liveable city in the world and is a thriving multi-cultural hub of cuisine, music, art and culture.

Based around 2 large harbours, this is a large city on New Zealand’s north island. In the centre, the iconic Sky Tower has views of Viaduct Harbour, which is full of super yachts and lined with bars and cafes. Auckland Domain, the city’s oldest park, is based around an extinct volcano and home to the formal Winter gardens.
