We are looking for a GP to join a team of 4 GPs. The practice is in a DPA, beachside location with easy reach of Melbourne. A wonderful area for families offering a laid back lifestyle.
The practice is mixed / private billing who support the GPs to be consultants in general practice. Areas of specialism are encouraged and a full range of services are provided. The ethos of the practice is providing comprehensive family care to their patients.
The GP Job
You will be offered 65% of billings with the opportunity to earn an excellent income. Some of the GPs in the practice bill $3000 – $3500 per day before percentage. There is a minimum hourly guarantee for the first 3 months and percentage increases to 70% once you have full medical registration. The practice has a house which is close to the practice and available for you for the first 3 months to help you settle in.
You will be given the time and the training to enable you to build up and maintain your patient base and have the support to be able to bill effectively. The practice has a strong nursing team and specialist equipment to allow you to be a GP to the best of your ability.
The practice is looking for a high quality GP who is looking to provide excellent continuity of patient care. Patients will travel to the practice to see their own GP.
Patient demographics are varied however lends to a more affluent patient base who are invested in their health. There are 2 other UK GPs working at the clinic who have settled in well.
