GP Job – Geelong – The Practice
This is a warm, supportive practice based in Geelong in Victoria. The clinic has 3 GPs who have been practising in the area for many years. The doctors prioritise evidence based medicine and the well-being of their patients to provide high quality care. It is a bulk billing practice looking after a range of patients from young to old.
It is a modern, purpose build practice with 3 doctors and a full time nurse. There are 5 consulting rooms and they are looking for an additional GP to meet patient demand.
Opening Hours:
8am – 6pm Monday to Friday
9 – 12 Saturday
The Position
The practice is run by UK trained GPs who are familiar with the move from the UK and can provide lots of practical support getting set up in Australia and appropriate training where needed to ensure a smooth transition. A full time position is 35 hours per week and part time positions are available.
The Location
Geelong is a popular attractive city with a great selection of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. There are city beaches and swimming pools with the surfing beaches on the south coast just a few minutes drive. It’s also the gateway to the famous Great Ocean Road.
The schooling options in Geelong are excellent with a range of good primary and secondary schools in the area. Geelong is Victoria’s second largest city, after Melbourne which is easily accessible by car of train in an hour.
