GP Job Christchurch – The Practice

The practice is seeking long term locums or permanent GPs to join their busy well established clinic.  They are currently seeking two GPs for up to 8 sessions per week.

This is a 4 GP practice based in the Christchurch suburbs. Making up the rest of the team are 4 Practice nurses, a Health Improvement Practitioner and administration team. The practice provides a range of general practice services to the local community.

Established in 2009 with the objective of developing a sustainable future for New Zealand primary health, whilst retaining the heart and soul of independent general practice.

You would be working for a growing network of primary healthcare providers working together to ensure the best for patients and health staff alike.

The practice has well-structured business systems along with centrally supported clinical and administration services that enable succession planning for existing owners, attractive entry opportunities for new clinicians and facilitates continuity for patients and staff.

The Location

The practice is only a 20 minute drive from central Christchurch whilst being far enough from the city to give you a very real country lifestyle. It is an easy commutable distance from the city.

Christchurch is the largest city on the south island of New Zealand and the country’s 3rd most populous urban area. It lies on the east coast with a population of around 350, 000.

Christchurch is number 2 on The New York Time’s 52 places to go in 2014 and the gateway to New Zealand’s south island. It is vibrant and ever-evolving and surrounded by a region of natural wonders. You can ski, bungy jump, hike, mountain bike, raft, surf, swim, golf, see whales, dolphins and seals, visit wineries and gardens, shop and be entertained, all within 2 hours of Christchurch.
