GP Job Christchurch – The Practice

This is a 4 GP medical centre based in central Christchurch, only a 10 minute drive from the city centre. You’ll be working alongside another UK trained doctor as part of the team. There are 4 nurses and 4 administration staff.

The practice is open Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm and closed on Public Holidays and weekends. The practice provides general practice services and nurse led specialist clinics.

The practice is a GP development organisation who are a group of like-minded colleagues to work in partnership with practices to allow them to thrive. They provide administration and management support and a sustainable ownership structure.

The Location

The practice is very centrally located, a 10 minute drive from the city centre. Christchurch is the largest city on the south island of New Zealand and the country’s 3rd most populous urban area. It lies on the east coast with a population of around 350, 000.

Christchurch is number 2 on The New York Time’s 52 places to go in 2014 and the gateway to New Zealand’s south island. It is vibrant and ever-evolving and surrounded by a region of natural wonders.
