GP Job Central Coast – The Practice

We are seeking a General Practitioner to join a thriving, doctor-led medical centre located  on the Central Coast of New South Wales. This role offers a rare combination of urgent care and general practice, delivering outstanding earning potential alongside genuine flexibility and autonomy.

This is a mixed billing practice where doctors working five days per week can realistically earn $600K+ annually. The clinic has exceptionally strong patient demand, and doctors typically build full books within 3–4 months—without ever relying on a minimum income guarantee.

A significant portion of income is driven by chronic disease management, supported by robust recall systems for health checks (billed at approximately $270). The clinic is fully equipped with on-site spirometry, ECGs, and streamlined patient recall processes to maximise efficiency and billings.

You’ll be joining a well-supported, well-connected practice. The closest hospital is just 2km away, and radiology and pathology are located within 100m. The practice employs three full-time nurses. There’s also a dedicated full-time business manager on-site to support daily operations.

The clinic is open seven days a week and has a strong reputation in the community. Many of our current doctors are UK-trained, and new GPs typically fill their books within 3–4 months. Despite this demand, the practice has never had to use the minimum guarantee due to its consistently high patient volumes. Contracts are simple with no lock in agreement.

The practice offers full flexibility when it comes to holidays, working days, and hours. You’ll enjoy clinical independence and autonomy, with the freedom to choose how and when you work. Full supervision and support are provided and you will work alongside other UK trained GPs. The practice has a low turnover of staff and many doctors have been in the practice for years.

Location

The practice is slightly over an hours drie from Sydney. You can live along the beautiful coastal towns with lovely town centres, plenty of shopping and great schools and houses with sea views! If you want to live closer to Sydney then the northern suburbs are a good option with a 1 hour commute to work.
