GP Job Auckland Western Suburbs- The Practice

The GP practice is based in the Western Suburbs a 20 minute drive from central Auckland. A very low cost access practice, the practice looks after a high needs population and offers free healthcare to the majority of patients.

There are 4 GPs, all of whom work on a part time basis. There are always 2 GPs onsite. Alongside the GPs, the practice has 5 nurses and a GP Assistant. There is a Health Improvement Practitioner and Health Coach supporting. The practice has a Clinical Lead and Practice Manager to run the day to day. It is a teaching practice with supervision available. They area a great close knit team who work well under pressure.

Auckland is rated as the world’s most liveable city in the world and is a thriving multi-cultural hub of cuisine, music, art and culture.

Based around 2 large harbours, this is a large city on New Zealand’s north island. In the centre, the iconic Sky Tower has views of Viaduct Harbour, which is full of superyachts and lined with bars and cafes. Auckland Domain, the city’s oldest park, is based around an extinct volcano and home to the formal Wintergardens.
