We’ve had a number of recent enquiries relating to Australian visas, both temporary and permanent. It’s certainly a time of change within Australia with the new TSS 482 visa coming into force this month, replacing the 457 visa.

The good news is, for GPs, nothing really changes. GPs are still on the skilled shortage list and will be eligible for the Medium term stream which allows for up to a 4 year temporary visa, with capacity for visa renewal and permanent residence eligibility after 3 years.
